Medcomp, Novation in venous access catheters contract agreement

Novation, a health care supply contracting company, has awarded a 36-month contract for Medical Components'(Medcomp) three venous access catheters.

Under the contract, Novation’s member groups including VHA, UHC, and Provista, will be benifited with direct access to Medcomp’s chronic, acute and peritoneal dialysis catheters including the Split Cath III, Tesio and SLX Catheters.

Novation’s member can also get access to the Medcomp’s complete offering of CT Injectable and Standard Infusion peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and implantable ports including the Dignity Power Injectable Port.

Medcomp said its vascular access catheters provide solutions for both pediatric and neonatal patients.
