K2M, a spinal devices firm, has introduced ALEUTIAN Transforaminal-Lumbar (TLIF) II Interbody System and ALEUTIAN Anatomically-Narrow (AN) to its family of ALEUTIAN Interbody Systems.

The ALEUTIAN TILF II has bulleted PEEK interbodies for posterior lumbar applications which simplifies interbody insertion, an Adjustable Inserter that allows variable angulation of the implant from 0° to 55° in-situ.

Whereas the ALEUTIAN AN provides instrumentation that facilitates intraoperative use of the system for oblique implant placement through a transforaminal-lumbar approach.

The devices had been debuted at the 2011 North American Spine Society Annual Meeting held at Chicago recently.

K2M develops solutions to treat spinal pathologies and minimally invasive procedures.
