Intertronics, a developer of software and hardware solutions for automated measurement and analysis systems, has released new medical device adhesive guides focusing on needle bonding and catheter assembly.
The new selector guides, from Intertronics’ sales partner DYMAX, feature extensive technical data regarding available adhesives, typical substrates, as well as appropriate dispensing and curing equipment.
The guides are also packed with detailed information which helps device manufacturers to choose the appropriate adhesive, along with compatible dispensing and curing equipment to suit individual needs.
The company said as a further aid to quality assurance and product verification, many adhesives are colored in either red or blue.
In addition, tables advise relevant information such as joint design criteria, viscosity, production throughputs and estimating usage.
