Hitachi Aloka Medical has launched a diagnostic ultrasound system with a flexible style to operate in many clinical environments.

The Noblus system features the company’s real-time Tissue Elastography that depicts the relative elasticity of tissue and Ultra BE digital signal circuit which processes ultrasound, captures and maintains the ultra-precise digital data necessary for premium image quality.

In addition, the system supports Single Crystal Probes enabling higher sensitivity and wider bandwidth than traditional transducers.

Designed in the form of a laptop PC, the system’s optional cart feature also facilitates examiner to operate Noblus in a sitting or standing position.

The system’s monitor can be swiveled or tilted, reducing unnecessary stretching and straining by the examiner, claims the company.

The company said shipments of the Noblus will be commenced after the acquisition of a country’s marketing authorization.
