Hectare Systems, a distributor of medical products and equipment, has entered into a marketing agreement with Revolutions Medical.
Under the agreement, Hectares has gained non-exclusive rights to distribute Revolutions’ RevVac auto-retractable vacuum safety syringe in Malaysia.
The RevVac auto retractable vacuum safety syringe utilizes a patented technology in which a vacuum causes the needle to retract into the barrel of the syringe or device after an injection is administered or blood is drawn.
The safety syringe also helps in stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS and other blood borne diseases by eliminating accidental needle sticks and the reuse of contaminated needles.
Revolutions Medical CEO and chairman Ron Wheet said the company is pleased with the support and commitment Hectare Systems has made to the RevVac safety syringe, the next generation of safety syringes, by introducing it to one of the more modern healthcare systems in Asia, the Malaysian market.
Revolutions other products include safety blood drawing device, the RevColor, RevDisplay, and Rev3D software tools.
