HeartSine Technologies has introduced new Samaritan PAD 360P (SAM 360P), a fully automatic AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
The new automatic AED, which is based on samaritan PAD 350P, analyses the heart rhythm and provides electrical shock to sudden cardiac arrest victim to bring back the heart to normal rhythm.
New SAM 360P offers easy to follow visual and audio prompts such as CPR coaching that verbally guides the rescuer through the CPR process.
The automatic AED uses samaritan PAD technology and Self-Compensating Output Pulse Envelope (SCOPE) technology to evaluate rhythm and maximize effective shock delivery.
HeartSine Technologies CEO Declan Mahoney said the company works closely with customers to ensure that products include the features, as per requirements.
"Because the auto-shock feature is required in some markets, we expanded our product offering to include the SAM 360P, which nicely complements our existing product line," Mahoney added.
In addition, the company is introducing new samaritan PAD Trainer TRN-360, which simplifies CPR and AED training.
It helps users by guiding through simulated analysis, energy delivery and prompted Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) intervals.
All HeartSine samaritan PAD models feature Pad-Pak cartridge, which provides battery and electrodes for the device.
