Hallym University Medical Center (HUMC) in Seoul, South Korea, has ordered for RaySearch Laboratories' RayStation treatment planning system.
HUMC’s six general hospitals include Hallym University Sacred Heart, Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart, Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart, Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart, Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart and Hallym University Kangdong Sacred Heart.
HUMC said it will initially utilize RayStation at two hospitals including Hallym University Sacred Heart and Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart for traditional 3D-CRT treatments, as well as advanced treatments such as IMRT and VMAT.
HUMC has also ordered a fully integrated package of image processing tools such as automated organ segmentation and image fusion.
RaySearch CEO Johan Lof said, "We are looking forward to work together with our distributor OTS to introduce RayStation as quickly as possible at Hallym University Medical Center."
RayStation is built on software architecture, has a graphical user interface and features a multi-criteria optimization (MCO) tools with support for 4D adaptive radiation therapy.
