GE Healthcare has launched Centricity Advance - Mobile, an Apple iPad application for primary care physicians in small practices.
The Centricity Advance is an electronic medical record (EMR), practice management (PM) and Patient Portal solution designed for medical practices.
The mobile application aids physicians to immediatly respond to patient requests, such as prescription refills and emailed questions, even when he is away from the office.
In addition, physicians can use their iPad to order, digitally sign and route a new prescription to a pharmacy.
