GE Healthcare has introduced new Lullaby LED phototherapy system to treat infants suffering with hyperbilirubinemia.
The Lullaby system utilizes LED technology which reduces power consumption and the overall replacement costs, resulting in up to 80% energy savings and a 50x extended bulb life.
Lullaby LED phototherapy breaksdown the bilirubin by delivering uniform light distribution over the total surface area of the body.
It also provides a tightly focused wavelength for maximizing bilirubin metabolism and has a high irradiance level allowing for tailored treatment for each infants’ needs.
