Galt Medical, a subsidiary of Theragenics, has unveiled Microslide Pediatric Introducer line for infants, children and adolescents.
Microslide Pediatric Introducer line features 2 and 3 French size tearaway sheath introducers, small diameter guidewires and short needles which facilitate clinicians to introduce into smaller vessels.
Theragenics chairman and chief executive officer Christine Jacobs said the company has received positive feedback from clinicians on the Galt Microslide product as it has met an important need in the market.
"We listened to our customers and they are rewarding us with small but growing sales," Jacobs added.
"Perhaps more importantly, potential customers are inviting us and our products into institutions where we historically have not had opportunities."
