The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Siemens Healthcare's mobile digital X-ray system - Mobilett Mira.
Mobilett Mira is equipped with a wireless detector, which facilitates examinations of patients with limited mobility, and its rotating swivel arm rotates up to 90 degrees and simplifies the examination process for clinical staff.
Mobilett Mira works with very short exposure times beyond one millisecond, reducing patient radiation exposure.
Siemens Healthcare X-ray Products vice president Gerhard Schmiedel said the new rotating swivel benefits radiologists and technologists, by providing more flexibility to access patients and capture images with greater ease.
