HealthTrust, a group purchasing organization, has awarded a contract to EndoChoice to provide endoscope care, cleaning and protection accessories.
Under the deal, EndoChoice will provide its EndoKit, CinchPad, SafeStart bedside clean kit, Koala cleaning sponges, Hedgehog cleaning brushes, and new EndoGlide+ 1.1 oz single-use lubricant to HealthTrust’s members.
In addition, HealthTrust’s members including nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities, 10,600 ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate care sites can take advantage of special pricing and pre-negotiated terms offered by EndoChoice.
EndoChoice founder and CEO Mark Gilreath said the company believes that its full spectrum of products will streamline and standardize the process of reprocessing endoscopes.
"This contract gives HealthTrust’s member facilities access to the clinical and regulatory benefits provided by EndoChoice’s revolutionary Compliance EndoKit as well as other propriety products," Gilreath added.
