Easton Hospital is adding Masimo's Patient SafetyNet and Pronto Co-oximeter to expand its non-invasive patient monitoring capabilities.

The noninvasive Patient SafetyNet system is designed for measuring and tracking the underlying physiological conditions of up to 80 patients on four floors with Signal Extraction Pulse Oximetry.

The Patient SafetyNet system has clinically shown to decrease rapid response activations by 65% and costly ICU transfers by 48%.

The handheld Pronto Co-oximeter is designed for noninvasive spot-checking of total hemoglobin (SpHb) along with SpO2, pulse rate, and perfusion index measurements.

The company said Pronto, which is powered by rainbow SET technology, has shown to have the highest pulse oximetry specificity (lowest rate of false alarms) and sensitivity (highest true alarm detection)
