The Dutch Military has ordered 45 sets of Belmont Instrument's Rapid Infuser to treat massive blood loss of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The infuser combines microprocessor technology with a mechanical system to infuse large amounts of life-sustaining fluids warmed to physiological temperature at flow rates up to 1 L/min.

The Rapid Infuser is equipped with multiple air, temperature and pressure sensors to ensure patient safety without requiring constant operator vigilance.

The infuser is used by the US military hospitals in Iraq and Afghanistan to save the lives of soldiers and civilians.
