Cutera, a provider of laser and other energy-based aesthetic devices, has launched Excel V laser system - a vascular work station designed for the core-market of Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons.
The Excel V features a handpiece delivery system that allows the physician to treat patients and provide the spot sizes available on any system with enhanced visibility.
The system also incorporates many modern features that enhance its use in the clinic and has been received by many laser dermatologists.
Cutera president and CEO Kevin Connors said the Excel V is the first in a series of high performance, stand-alone, laser based products that we expect to introduce to the market.
"It combines a new high power green laser with Cutera’s Nd:YAG technology, to provide a single, compact and efficient system that treats the entire range of cosmetic vascular conditions, without the need for costly consumables," Connors said.
