CSL Plasma, Inc. has selected Haemonetics Corporation’s' Next Generation Donor Management System (NextGen DMS) to manage plasma collection across its more than 100 plasma donation centres in the US and Europe.

This is part of a long-term technology agreement signed between the two companies.

Haemonetics says that its fully integrated software system is designed to enable greater efficiency and advance the collection operations performance.

Global Plasma president for Haemonetics Pete Allen commented: "This strategic global partnership will help us expand the capabilities of our advanced solutions for the industry, which includes an enhancement to our current plasma collection device that will support two-way data communication, and will complement our new software offering."
