Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana, has selected Allscripts' electronic health record (EHR) system for 310 Concentra Urgent Care locations across the country.
Concentra provides occupational medicine, urgent care, primary care, physical therapy, and wellness services.
Concentra said as they are now implementing the new EHR system, all patient and client data will be connected throughout its national footprint of medical centers and employer worksite locations.
Concentra CEO Jim Greenwood said the Allscripts EHR is a proven solution that will facilitate them to deliver real-time data and further enhance best practices, while supporting their expansion into new lines of medical care.
Allscripts CEO Glen Tullman said they are excited to expand their relationship with Humana by providing Concentra’s affiliated physicians with the information and real-time decision support they need to generate timely outcomes for their patients, at any of their national medical center locations.
Concentra is also planning to use the Allscripts Clinical Quality Solution (CQS) to provide its physicians with clinical-decision support information at the point of care.
