CarePoint Partners has acquired ArTex Medical's infusion therapy business, as part of its plans to further expand presence within Texas and Louisiana.
The transaction, which marks the fourth acquisition by the company within the last four years, is expected to strangthen its position as a home infusion provider.
ArTex executive vice president James Sheets said the support systems in place at CarePoint Partners provides an operational framework that allows their team members to focus almost completely on clinical services and patient care.
"Being a part of CarePoint will enable us to improve our cardiology, nutrition, infectious disease, and neurology clinical support programs," Sheets said.
