The MCOT device is designed for the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac arrhythmias, or heart rhythm disorders.

CardioNet president and CEO Joseph Capper said the new device will facilitate physicians to provide the product in their offices, shortening the time to patient activation.

"The monitor also includes an instructional video which will further enhance the patient experience," Capper said.

"Additionally, the product’s flexible design will help the seamless introduction of planned future enhancements."

CardioNet also provides ambulatory, continuous, real-time outpatient management solutions for monitoring relevant and providing timely patients clinical information.
