Wireless medical technology company CardioNet has launched an iPad application for its Mobile Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry (MCOT) solution.

The iPad application on MCOT enables health care providers to instantly access cardiac monitoring services.

In addition, the new application will enable physicians to save, print and send patient reports on-line from the convenience of their iPad.

CardioNet CEO and president Joseph Capper said the company is pleased to offer physicians who prescribe MCOT, an advanced cardiac monitoring system on the market, easier accessibility to patient data.

"We believe that making the most precise mobile cardiac-related information available to physicians at their fingertips, in a user-friendly format, is a powerful tool that will benefit patients, payors and physicians alike," Capper added.
