The CAO Group has been granted its third patent (US Pat. No. 8,834,457) by the US Patent Office regarding its medical diode laser systems.
This patent provides protection of CAO’s innovative methods to deliver laser energy through a disposable tip. In addition, CAO has received a Notice of Allowance (APP. No. 13/682,724) regarding the use of touch screen with a graphical user interface to control a laser system. Accordingly, a fourth CAO laser system patent is expected to be issued in the coming months.
The two other US patents CAO has received for its medical diode laser systems include US Patent No. 7,485,116, covering laser fiber management, and US Patent No. 8,337,097, which covers laser units that include a wireless foot switch to control the laser unit.
