BioElectronics president and CEO Andrew Whelan said that the company has designed this new generation of product line specifically for the retail market.

"Input from European retailers drove our design choices: we added an integrated on/off switch, a more rigid, bounce-back insulation and a clear epoxy coating for better water resistance and durability."

The ActiPatch pain relief product line will be the first to market with the 4G features.

"We significantly simplified the electronics to reduce size and weight while improving device reliability. The simple push button on-off switch will make it easier for consumers to get the most use out of the 720 hour battery life," Whelan added.

Switzerland-based Gro-International will manage packaging and brand management of the new products in Europe.

BioElectronics expects the new ActiPatch Therapy product to be available in Europe in the fall.
