Berwind, a provider of sterile medical device and pharmaceutical packaging, has purchased Oliver Products.
Since May 2007, Oliver Products has been owned by a private equity investment company, Mason Wells.
Oliver said during Mason Wells ownership, it has acquired Tolas Healthcare Packaging and created Oliver-Tolas facilities in Europe and China, as well as relocated Oliver Packaging and Equipment to a new facility in Walker, Michigan, US.
As part of the acquisition, Berwind will continue to support the strategy of investment and growth for both Oliver-Tolas Healthcare Packaging and Oliver Packaging and Equipment.
Oliver Products president and CEO Jerry Bennish said the company has been successful under Mason Wells ownership.
"We see this continuing under Berwind’s ownership," Bennish added.
