Baptist Hospital of Miami, a part of Baptist Health South Florida, has ordered for RaySearch Laboratories' treatment planning system - RayStation.
The hospital will use RayStation as its treatment planning system for advanced treatments, such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).
The order includes multi-criteria optimization (MCO) tool which aids clinicians to evaluate the impact of changing different treatment priorities in real-time, which has a large potential to speed up the time-consuming treatment planning optimization process.
RaySearch Americas president Marc Mlyn said the company will work with Baptist Hospital department to implement RayStation and help them provide cancer care.
