Associates of Cape Cod has introduced chromogenic endotoxin detection system with Pyrochrome chromogenic reagent and Pyros Kinetix Flex Incubating Kinetic tube reader which is used for conducting endotoxin testing.
The Pyrochrome reagent can perform kinetic or endpoint assays featuring a maximum sensitivity of 0.001 EU/ml, an option to use polynomial regression with a sample to lysate volume ratio of 4:1.
The Pyros Kinetic Flex Reader, an optical tube reader that runs both chromogenic and turbidimetric assays combined with Pyros EQS Software is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 for accurate endotoxin testing.
The Pyros Kinetix Flex reader is available in 32, 64 and 96 eight mm well configurations with each well independently timed, allowing the operator to add more samples while a run is in progress.
The reader also features precise temperature control, solid state design and utilises depyrogenated test tubes that eliminate potential hot wells often found while using mircroplates.
