AppleWhite Dental Partners, a provider of dental services, has entered into an agreement to use LED Medical Diagnostics' VELscope Vx early detection system.
The VELscope Vx features an optional digital camera and customized bracket which facilitate dentists to photo-document suspicious lesions that are referred to specialists for surgical biopsy.
AppleWhite Dental Partners CEO Thomas McCoy said VELscope Vx facilitates dentists to discover oral cancer and other oral disease in early stages, and in a way that is completely non-invasive for their patients.
AppleWhite Dental Partners dentistry director Mark Mosier said the company is confident that the VELscope Vx will provide effective, convenient and economical solution for both practices and patients.
