AMT Electrosurgery, a supplier of surgical systems in Canada, has entered into an agreement to distribute Symmetry Surgical's comprehensive portfolio of surgical devices.
Under the agreement, AMT will distribute brands and products of Codman Surgical Instruments and SSi, which were acquired by Symmetry Surgical.
In addition, Symmetry Surgical’s portfolio includes products of Olsen Medical and various brands including Bookwalter, Greenberg, Riley, Olsen, Ultra, Quad-lock, Flashpak, RapidClean, Opti-Length, Classic and Classic Plus.
Symmetry Surgical chief operating officer Chris Huntington said the company along with AMT ‘s strength in the surgical marketplace will expand its existing business in Canada.
"Introducing our recently expanded product line gives clinicians and facilities a new option of proven, industry-leading brands to meet their needs and improve the lives of their patients," Huntington added.
