Ambry Genetics, a provider of genomic services focused on clinical diagnistics, has launched Illumina HiSeq 2000 next generation sequencing services.
Illumina said its reversible terminator-based sequencing by synthesis chemistry in combination with new engineering, HiSeq 2000 delivers the highest sequencing output and fastest data generation rate.
Ambry Genetics Business Development vice president Ardy Arianpour said they have continued to invest and develop their sequencing operations to become Illumina experts.
"All of our customers are excited about the Illumina HiSeq because it expands our whole genome and exome sequencing services to the next level and gives them the opportunity to reduce their costs while providing more data," Arianpour said.
"If Illumina is your preferred platform then we want to be your preferred sequencing provider."
Ambry Genetics’ team of scientists routinely process libraries for all available applications ranging from small RNAs to whole genome DNA sequencing.
