AHA Solutions said that the PFCA measures a range of critical issues across eight key stages of the patient flow process: pre-admission, admission, diagnostics, procedures, treatment, recovery, discharge, post-discharge and Home.

The data from the survey is compiled into a report that provides valuable insights into the leading patient throughput and capacity management challenges facing today’s hospitals.

Assessment participants share obstacles they face in the development and implementation of patient flow processes and technologies while learning about the experiences of hospital peers. Those who complete the survey will receive the 2010 PFCA report and an invitation to attend an AHA Solutions webinar featuring a discussion of the report’s important findings.
