The Aethlon Hemopurifier is a first-in-class bio-filtration device, which eliminates viruses and immunosuppressive proteins from the circulatory system of infected individuals.

The device selectively targets the rapid elimination of circulating viruses and tumor-secreted exosomes, which promote cancer progression.

Hemopurifier has been used in the treatment of Ebola, HIV and Hepatitis C virus, said Aethlon.

Earlier, Time also reported on the successful use of Hemopurifier therapy in an Ebola patient with multiple organ failure.

The company develops therapeutic devices for the infectious disease, cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
