Accovion, a European CRO that manages, conducts international clinical trials and supports local and global projects of all types and phases for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, has established two additional subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and in Russia.

Accovion provides study planning and management, clinical monitoring, pharmacovigilance including post-marketing safety, data management, biostatistics, statistical programming, medical writing and electronic publishing.

Accovion chief operating officer Ivana Waller said they have been conducting clinical research activities for their clients in the Czech Republic and Russia for some time now.

"Our new affiliate offices help strengthen our base, give us better access to the local clinical research talent and enable us to be even more responsive to our clients’ growing needs," Waller said.

"We were very pleased to bring on board two experienced managing directors – Jiri Skopek for our Prague office and Nikolay Odintsov for our Moscow office.
