In December of 2008 the USPTO approved the Company’s federal trademark application for the SpineAlign mark. “We were excited about the approval of the SpineAlign name for our product offering and naming the Company as well allows us to make the investment into one brand identity,” stated Paul Chirico, President and CEO of SpineAlign Medical. “In addition, this dovetails well into our aggressive European commercial launch strategy planned for July of this year.”

The Company is planning a full commercial launch with its European distribution partners at the first joint American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR)/European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) meeting scheduled for July 7-12 in Italy. This particular strategy comes on the heels of a successful funding round completed in 2009 first quarter.
