Seraffix announced that it will be completing the study of Seraffix LTB by February 2010.

Seraffix LTB (Laser Tissue Bonding) System is a laser system designed for performing excisional biopsy surgery by using laser and albumin. Excisional biopsy of the skin involves removal of entire lesion. There are two basic processes for laser assisted bonding of tissues which include-laser welding and laser soldering. The product incorporates features that enables laser soldering suitable for clinical purpose. The system is comprised of CO2 laser device, propriety grip device (Clamps) and soldering agent (Human Albumin).

This study is currently recruiting participants. The official title of the study is “Evaluation of Safety and Efficacy of Using Seraffix LTB – (Laser Tissue Bonding) System”.
