Cooper earlier served as a general manager at Henry Schein, a $7.8bn healthcare company.
Cooper served as a senior vice president in an aesthetic based dental company – Discus, where he played a role in growing an entrepreneurial based company from $60m to $165m in sales over a five-year period.
Cooper also served his positions in business development and marketing at IMG, the Franklin Mint, Canadian Tire and Ogilvy, a division of WPP, a marketing communications company.
