Boston Scientific Corporation has been planning to launch Neuroform EZ Stent System in US and European markets immediately.
Boston Scientific said that EZ Stent System is an intracranial aneurysm stent system designed for use in conjunction with endovascular coiling to treat wide-necked aneurysms. Neuroform EZ Stent System is engineered to provide flexibility and conformability, especially in tortuous brain anatomy.
Neuroform EZ Stent System employs Boston Scientific’s proprietary Segmental Expansion technology, designed to enhance stent anchoring and stability.
Boston Scientific claimed that the product features the proven hybrid cell design of prior-generation Neuroform Stents while incorporating a simplified, single-operator delivery system intended to facilitate preparation, delivery and positioning of the stent.
